Chapter 21: The Bread is the Word

Christ sacrificed His body at the altar.  For His body is the bread which is the Word of God.  And His children have eaten His Bread and drunken His blood.  And His children have sacrificed their own body and blood.  And His children shall partake of His everlasting grace.

Bread is that which gives sustenance to life. And when God created Adam and Eve, He gave them bread to sustain their bodies, until they returned to dust of the earth, for what comes from the dust must return to the dust. (Genesis 3:19) And when His people complained, that they had no food to sustain them, God in His mercy rained manna, the bread from the heavens. (Exodus 16:4) And He commanded His people to eat, the unleavened bread as a memorial, that He had saved them from Egypt. (Exodus 12:14-15) And He commanded His people to leave the bread, at the table of show bread as a memorial, of His presence amongst them in the temple. (Exodus25:30) And Moses reminded His people, that the bread of this earth is perishable, and man must not live on bread alone, but on the Bread or Word of God. (Deuteronomy 8:3) And the prophets promised that those, who lived on His Bread, and executed His ordinances, and walked in His statutes, would surely live. (Ezekiel 18:16) But did His people live on the Bread of God, and execute His ordinances, and walk in His statutes? No, for they forsook the Bread of God, and ate the bread of wickedness, and drank of the wine of violence. (Proverbs 4:16-17) And Esau the father of Islam, would forsake his inheritance from his father, for the bread of deceit from Jacob. (Genesis 25:32-33) And the curse of their deception would endure, from that curse until the end of mankind. For by the fruits of man’s wickedness, mankind will be destroyed, and will eat the bread of ashes, and drink the cup of weeping. (Psalms 102:9-10) What is bread? Bread is the food from the earth, which gives us earthly life. And what is the Bread of Life? The Bread of Life is the Word of God, which gives us eternal life. And bread consists of three ingredients: water, grain, and yeast. And water is the sustenance of life on earth, as the Father is the sustenance of life in heaven. And grain is the seed of the bread, as Christ is the Seed of the Word. (Galatians 3:16) And yeast produces carbon dioxide, which causes the bread to rise. And the Spirit produces the fruits of God, which causes His Word to rise. Thus the Bread or Word of God, consists of three ingredients: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
