Three: The Trinity of God and of Man

Man was created in the image of God.  For God is the Trinity- the Father, Son, and Holy  Spirit.   For Man is a Trinity - Heart, Soul, and Mind.   For God's graces are a Trinity - Faith, Hope, and Love.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew28:19) The time is near but the calling remains the same. For God the Trinity has returned for all of mankind. For the Father is the Water and the sustenance of all life; the Son is the Word and the Blood for mankind; and the Spirit is the Heart which yields the Fruit for His kingdom. For God is three in one, for God is the Holy Trinity. And the concept that the Trinity is “three in one” is not as difficult as it may seem. For “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him.” (Genesis 1:27) For just as God is three in one, so is man created three in one. For each man is a trinity having“three in one”: a soul which gives an inheritance with the Father; a spirit which gives the heart to accomplish His works; and a mind which gives the Word and the knowledge of God. And through the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we receive the triune of graces from God: hope - that we may return to the Father; faith - that through the Spirit we may bear His fruits; and love - that we may sacrifice our lives for Christ, even unto death. (1 Corinthians 13:13) And through the three graces of the Spirit, the Kingdom has been leavened, and has grown to fruition for all of mankind. “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened.” (Matthew 13:33) And three has several important mathematical properties:Three is the lowest prime number which cannot be reciprocated into a decimal value. In other words if 1 is divided into 3, the number becomes undefined. i.e. 0.3333333333333... ∞. And just as one cannot be divided into three, the Trinity cannot be divided into three, nor can man’s nature be divided into three, nor can God’s graces be divided into three. For they are all intrinsically one. “For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the threeare in agreement.” (1 John 5:7-8)
