The ear is a receptive organ which receives a sound wave from the air and hears it as sound. And the ear is the means by which we receive His Word and hear it as Truth. For as the Word said to the people,"He who has ears to hear , let him hear Sound is a vibration which is transmitted through an instrument. And the Father transmitted His sound through a trumpet. "Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the." (Mark 4:9) sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it , they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, 'You speak with us, and we will hear ; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.'" (Exodus 20:18-19) And the people transmitted His sound through a trumpet. “So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat." (Joshua 6:20) And the arc was heralded with the sound of a trumpet. "So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet." (2Samuel 6:15) And the trumpet shall sound to warn of His coming."He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:31)
