The Hands of the Trinity

The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy, The Prophecy

Hand is derived from the Gothic root handus which means “control”. And all things are in God’s hands, for all things are under His control. For the hand is the end of the arm which is used for grasping. And at the end all men shall grasp “and gain insight as well, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.” (Isaiah 41:20)

Hand is derived from the Gothic word handus which means "control". And all things are in God's hands, for all things are under His control. For the hand is the end of the arm used for grasping. And at the end all men shall grasp "and gain insight as well, that the hand of the LORD has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it." (Isaiah 41:20) And the hand of God has created all things through the Trinity. For all things were created by the hand of the Father.  "O LORD, You are our Father, we are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand." (Isaiah 64:8) And all things were handed from the Father to the Son. For "the Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." (John 3:35-36) And all things were handed from the Father to the Spirit through the Son. For as the Son said "the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you." (John 14:26)  And now His children have been handed the task of completing His work. For "someone may well say, 'You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.  For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead." (James 2:18-26) And Christ has handed us this holy task, "go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
