Chapter 17: The Son of Man Returns in Clouds

The Day shall soon come that the prophecy spoke of.  For the Son of Man shall return in the clouds with great glory.  And every knee shall bow and proclaim He is God.

'They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.' (Matthew 24:29) The first covenant between God and man, was made in the clouds with the sun, and the last covenant will be made, when the Son returns on the clouds. And what was the first covenant of mankind? The clouds did rain and destroy mankind, but through the clouds God sent a sign, a rainbow as a promise to man, that He would not kill by rain again. (Genesis 9:12-13) And how were His people led through the desert? God led them with a pillar of cloud, as a reminder that He would dwell, with His people until the end. (Exodus 13:21-22) And from the entrance of the temple, God descended in a cloud, that He would speak to His people. (Exodus 33:8-11) And it is through the clouds,that the Father announced His only Son, 'This is My beloved Son,with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!' (Matthew 9:13)
